Coronavirus Hotspots were released by Governor Cuomo of New York in June and October. We looked at our member population to determine which members and regions are at a higher risk vs others. Data from multiple open sources and proprietary sources was blended together to identify who is at a risk and what are high risk zones. The data included:

– Continuity of Care and access to care, PCP
– Comorbidities and underlying conditions
– Social Connectedness
– Social Vulnerability
– Socioeconomic factors
– Demographic factors

We used this analysis to formulate our strategies for different members and regions and reduce the overall pain and suffering of our member population in this pandemic.
