Throughout a dynamic career spanning Automotive, Technology, Research, Travel/Hospitality, and Financial Services, Dr. U has consistently championed the build-out and scaling of global Data, Digital, and AI/ML practices. Prior to Fidelity, as Vice President, Global Head of Enterprise Data & AI Technology at American Express, Dr. U led enterprise-wide capabilities, including significant regulatory oversight for data and AI/ML governance. Earlier, Dr. U established and scaled global data science practices for organizations like Las Vegas Sands Corp. and Carnival Cruise Line, building high-performing teams to tackle complex international business challenges.

With a Ph.D. in Computer Science (specializing in Machine Learning) from The University of Georgia and extensive international professional experience, Dr. U excels at bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and strategic business objectives, ultimately delivering impactful solutions that create substantial enterprise value.
