Kim Martin

Director, Software Engineering at Indeed

Kim Martin has been a professional computer scientist for over 20 years specializing in data engineering, machine learning, distributed systems optimization and scale, and tech leadership. She has spent her career working on complex big data problems for organizations across the education, entertainment, finance, robotics, and travel domains. She’s created big data solutions, recommendation engines, and custom search applications for companies including the Department of Defense, Cubic, Avis/Budget, Eli Lilly, and HBO. Kim is ex-YouTube, ex-Google, ex-Netflix, and currently an engineering leader at Indeed.

Kim holds a BS in Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University, a Masters in Physical Computing from New York University, and an MS in Computer Science (Machine Learning) from UMass Amherst.
